A Certified Member of IAHCSMM?

Certified individuals must renew their certifications once a year with IAHCSMM.  Our members realize the importance of continuing their professional education – to understand and apply new management techniques; to evaluate new procedures and products; to share their expertise and knowledge with their peers. Continuing education is an invaluable tool to keep you abreast of changes within CS and healthcare in general. Because of this, all members currently certified are responsible for submitting continuing education contact hours to renew each of their certifications annually.

Re-Certification contact hours are to be dated after your anniversary month (Example: if you join, renew or become certified January 2013, then your re-certification contact hours for the following renewal must be dated after January 2013 and before January 2014).

Renewal of membership and submission of contact hours are due by the last day indicated on your membership card (Example: if you join, renew or become certified in January 2013, your renewal of membership and submission of contact hours are due by January 31, 2014).
