Foundation Scholarships

To help advance patient safety, the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) created the IAHCSMM Foundation, the Association's 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization. The IAHCSMM Foundation's primary mission is to provide valuable education and support to CS professionals through educational initiatives, research, scholarships, professional development grants and awards.

Overview

In 2019, the IAHCSMM Foundation provided five scholarships for each of the following exams and study materials:

  1. Central Service Technical Manual and Workbook & Certification Exam (CRCST);
  2. Instrument Resource Manual & Certification Exam (CIS; CRCST prerequisite);
  3. Endoscope Reprocessing Manual and Workbook & Certification Exam (CER); and
  4. Central Service Leadership Manual and Workbook & Certification Exam (CHL; CRCST prerequisite).

Completed applications were due by 12pm CST on August 30, 2019. Recipients must take the exam prior to October 1, 2020.
