Q Does my IAHCSMM membership include a Chapter membership?
ANo. Chapter membership requires a separate membership. You may only participate in Chapter events by joining a Chapter.
Q How do I locate a chapter in my area?
ARefer to the Chapter Listing on the website. If there is not a chapter in your area, please read the How to Start a Chapter section. If you meet all of the necessary requirements, we look forward to receiving your submission
Q How do I become a member of my local Chapter?
AEach Chapter listing has a "Contact Us" tab on their respective web page. You may contact the individual listed to become a member of the Chapter, or to attain more information about the Chapter.
Q When are Chapter meetings held?
AEach Chapter has a different schedule of meetings and educational programs. Please refer to the individual Chapter listing's "Meetings" tab for more information.
Q How can I request a Speaker from IAHCSMM for our upcoming event?

Q May I use CE credits acquired at a Chapter event to renew my IAHCSMM certification?
AYes. All Chapters request CE credit approval from IAHCSMM prior to their meetings. These points may be used to renew your certification.
Q How do I form a local Chapter?
APlease refer to the Chapter section of the IAHCSMM website, under "How to Form a Chapter." If you meet all the requirements, you may submit the New Chapter Application to IAHCSMM Headquarters.
Q When are Chapter Recharters due?
AAll Active Chapters of IAHCSMM must annually submit a Re-Charter form by February 1st. Chapters that Recharter prior to this deadline will receive a waiver of registration to the Annual Meeting for their Chapter Representative to attend the Board of Directors brunch and all educational sessions. Chapters that do not Recharter by February 1st may be in jeopardy of losing IAHCSMM chapter affiliation status.
Q What is required of a Chapter to maintain IAHCSMM affiliation?
AAll Constituent Chapters are required to complete the Annual Chapter Recharter to continue affiliation with IAHCSMM. All Chapter Recharters must be submitted to IAHCSMM Headquarters by February 1.
Q Once we are approved as a Provisional Chapter, what are the steps we must take to become a full Chapter?
AOnce a Chapter receives Provisional Approval, a vote will take place at the next IAHCSMM Annual Conference and the Board of Directors (Chapter Representatives) will vote to approve the Chapter as full Constituent Chapter.
