On behalf of the Central Indiana Chapter of IAHCSMM, I want to say we are still a Chapter hungry for education. From the President to each and every chapter member, the evidence of the desire to learn and maintain all that our profession has to offer shines bright as ever. The dedication that CIC members have in our chapter continues to make me proud of our chapter as well as it's members. When I think of the Central Indiana Chapter I am so proud of how far we have progressed over the years. Our Chapter has won the Small Chapter of the Year as well as the Large Chapter twice. Not only has our chapter come together as a whole, but also as individuals. We have chapter members that have won the Golden Slipper Award, The Decontaminator of the Year Award, members that have written papers as well as sponsoring the IAHCSMM calendar.
With each year that passes the CIC chapter grows with leaps and bounds, as well as the dedication of its members. At the last International Meeting in Columbus, Ohio there were 11 CIC members that attended as well as 31 participants from Indiana. With each year our chapter grows in education, in dedication, in determination and continues the pursuit to be well informed, and as a whole to keep our chapter moving steadily forward into the next decade and beyond.

The Central Indiana Chapter would like to express our gratitude to IAHCSMM and our Vendors/Sponsors for hosting another great Conference, held in San Antonio, Texas. We especially want to thank the entire IAHCSMM staff for their hard work and preparation to make the conference an educational and memorable experience. We celebrate the fact that our region was well represented with 17 people in attendance, including 9 members and 3 board members. Our Chapter was represented in the IAHCSMM booth during the vendor exhibits, and our President was our Chapter Representative to the Board of Directors. Eight of our members, including three board members, attended the Educator's Forum this year. We are grateful for the opportunity to meet annually to collaborate and connect with experts and peers from around the globe.
We encourage participation in chapter activities and welcome ideas for seminar topics, educational offerings, and anything that may strengthen our presence and make us a more accessible resource for CSSD professionals in this region.
