IAHCSMM Business Continuity: COVID-19 (Coronavirus) FAQs Updated 7/1/2020
The IAHCSMM team would like to update you on our plans to ensure business continuity and support our current members, certificants and community during this difficult time. Our hearts go out to those directly impacted by COVID-19. IAHCSMM’s priorities are the health and wellbeing of our employees and our ability to continue providing essential services in the midst of this pandemic.
Just as we have in previous weeks, we will closely monitor this evolving situation and make necessary adjustments as needed. As of Friday, March 20th, Illinois' Governor J.B. Pritzker issued a "shelter in place" to the state of Illinois, causing all non-essential businesses to close. All IAHCSMM employees are temporarily working from home. Please note: this means that we will have limited access to incoming mail.
As a reminder, IAHCSMM remains open and is here for you. Although all staff are not physically present in the office, all employees have the tools to continue operations from their homes. If you have questions about your account, your certification status, testing eligibility or other concerns, you may continue to reach an IAHCSMM representative by email at email@example.com or by calling 800.962.8274. We assure you that IAHCSMM plans to continue its operations and work hard to prevent any service interruptions; however, we do ask for your patience as we navigate this new way of conducting business. Certification Renewals and Provisional Certifications
Due to the disruption of headquarters operations, we strongly encourage you to submit your renewal online for quickest processing. For further information, Click Here.
Our testing provider, Prometric, is slowly resuming testing for all certification programs. For further information, Click Here.
Our warehouse has been designated an essential business and is operational during the "shelter in place." UPS will continue to pick up and deliver packages as received. If you submit your order by fax or through our Online Store, it will be processed for shipping within one business day. For further information, Click Here.
The IAHCSMM Board of Directors made the decision to cancel the 2020 Annual Conference & Expo due to the health and wellness concerns for attendees and the community. In its place, we have created a Virtual Conference, open to all those who hold membership or certification with IAHCSMM. For more information and to request a refund, Click Here.
