Hot Topics is a new feature of Communiqué

As the name implies, this new column will tackle a broad range of timely topics pertinent to the profession— from certification, decontamination and sterilization issues to management strategies and inter-departmental team building, to name a few. Hot Topics will be authored by Julie Williamson, an experienced healthcare reporter who has served the industry for nearly a decade and has worked as IAHCSMM’s editor for more than six years.
The Association considers the addition of Hot Topics an important step in its commitment to building an even better newsletter and bringing more value and educational resources to its members.

As always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions for topics, or would be interested in sharing a personal success story straight from within the walls of your own CS department, IAHCSMM wants to hear from you!
