Hello Everyone,
does anyone have a written Policy for instrument set updating. When an instrument has to be added or removed from a set, what procedure does YOUR hospital follow?
We do not have a written policy on instrument set updates. However, we have an official form for the user department to fill out with the updates. It must be signed by the one or two people in each specialty who are authorized to make changes. There are two people in my department who have the password to edit the count sheets. As soon as any changes are made, all hard copies of previous editions are destroyed.
