Does any one have or can tell me where to find info on using peel packs in rigid sterilization containers??

New AAMI ST 79, section 8.3.4 :
"Paper-plastic pouches are not appropriate for use within wrapped sets or containment devices."
Hope this is what you are looking for.......

SPD is right (as usual - go SPD!!).

I learned in a seminar I attended that the peel packs could get sucked up against the filters/valves inside the rigid containers which negates the sterilizing agent's ability to contact the contents of the container.

Another way to look at the original question is whether peel pouches have Instructions For Use (IFU) and whether those instructions include placing them inside containers as a valid application. Since peel pouches are Class II devices, they should use be used per the Mfg instructions.
