Vendor/Consignment Policy

Does anyone have a policy for Vendor or Consignment trays coming into the facility from the outside? If so, would you mind emailing it to me?

We have a policy that was approved quite recently. I can't E-mail it to you but could certainly mail you a copy if you want to share your name, address. Our policy requires the same exact processes for ALL loaner items as we do for everything else; from inspectoin, decontamination, wrapping, sterilization and off-load. We ask for(but don't always get) complete written instructions and a list of contents. We incorporated into that policy to take pictures before and after use to verify what was received and what is returned. (time consuming and we do not always have the time ) We based our policy on the
ASHCSP/IAHCSMM Position Paper on Loaner Instrumentation.
