In your facility, is this an SPD or Materials Dept function?

At our facility this is a materiels issue. We in sterile are no longer adjacent to the warehouse, and did not have room to store the exchange carts. They stock all items, if they need a sterile instrument or a laryngoscope blade they contact us and we provide it.

At our facility this is a funtion of SPD, We stock the cart & put a new drug drawer in it (the drug drawer comes pre sealed from the pharmacy).
