you will have to consult your state department of public health for that - it varies by state.

I just finished investigating this topic for my department. The AAMI standards say to follow your state or local regulations and if there are none follow the recommendations of the infection control department of your institution.

Are you talking about legal? steam it is 5 years and eto 30 years from emloyee last date of work.
