We just moved into our newly built hospital and as we were sorting out things to move over we came across many items with outdates. Some I can see why they would out date and others I do not. One item is Abbocaths, what can expire on them? Another thing I came acrossed was prepackaged kits such as multi Lumens which the outside expiration date might say February 13th but when you open it the date on the item that you think would expire reads May 6th or something like that. Not even close to the date stamped on the outside of the package. What is the ruling on this? Do we just keep throwing things like this away? The cost of tossing out all these items is outrages. Another Question is what is can someone give me a name of a company that has dispensers for the peel pack rolls? Thank you to anyone who can help me on this.
