Do any of you know if there are any regulations or standards dictating whether it is necessary to use "non-conductive" suction tubing on anesthesia machines? This seems like an out-of-date practice, when anesthesia use to be flammable, but now that we use non-flammable anesthesia, but I could be wrong. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!
