Would You Recommend Meritz Plus Germicidal For Insturment Cleaning

Looking for info about a Dr. Clinics using meritz plus germicidal on their Instruments for cleaning for Insturments such as suture removal etc... Isn't Manu-Klenz good enough for this?

For just cleaning, Manu-klenz should do the trick. As far as I know it has no germicidal properties. The Meritz Plus label says that you have to remove gross filth before spraying. I would not use Meritz Plus as the primary cleaning agent.

We use Meritz Plus at our facility after hand washing items in an enzymatic detergent to decontaminate scopes and other heat sensitive (as well as case carts) items. We also decon our rigid containers with the Meritz Plus. Everything gets rinsed well.
