I'm not having this problem however I was asked if a linen pack was opened and was wet (damp) inside would the whole load be considered unexceptable? And would a recall be implemented? I researched AAMI/AORN IAHCSMM and could find no direct answer to this question. So I'd like to know how this problem is handled at your facilities.
Thanks,

Unless you determined that the linen pack had an inappropriate density for the method in which it was processed, removed from the controlled enviroment prior to proper cooling causing sweating to occur, then yes you may have had issues with your steam unit that would prompt a recall of the load for reprocessing. My personal commitment is to err on the side of caution and reprocess the entire load and verify proper handleing after.

Look under the sterilization thread there is an excellent response that is way more detailed than I gave. They must really know how to type, unlike me. lol. :)
