We have been asked to sterilize Lab media. I don't like the idea of mixing patient care items with lab items. Is there a policy or standards for sterilizing lab media? They make their own media and sterilize in 250degree for 15mins. on a liquid cycle. The sterilizer is ancient. There must be a better way.Any information on where to obtain standards would be appreciated.
