Why on a free site with so much infomation do people want to stay anonymous? It would be nice to put at least a name to a post and now, they even allow you to add a picture to your profile. So come on people, lets stop hiding.....lol;)

it's simply easier and quicker than signing in, that's all ... like I said, Anonymous has some good input - I'd hate to loose his point of view!

I totally understand ehat you are saying. I also think people should be willing to use their name. However, I believe there ar times when it would be appropriate toi post as annonymous such as:
!. Info you are asking could negatively affect your employer, and you are only seeking info to correct a situation and not cause embarrassment to your facility.
2. You have a coworker problem and info you are seeking could identify this employee to others. Remember oiur coworkers also use this site.
3. I have issues with my supervisor and i seek advise from others in my profession, I may not want my supervisor to know i am seeking info to question the rationale of his/herdecision making.
I could go on but I think you understand what I am saying.

I stand corrected. I do understand the angle you're coming from. It's just nice to know names, but I totally agree with the examples you gave.

I was wondering why we have not been viewing as many "Anonymous" posts on the new "Discsussion Forum."
Does everyone know how to do this or should we post more explicit instructions.
I view the "Anonymous" post as important as any other post because it provides someone a chance to ask a question that they might feel others would find too fundamental.
We want participation on this forum and want questions asked to advance the education in our field.
