What do you do with your endo water bottles. Do you sterilize them or just wash them??

We peel pack them with the lid and steam them. This is acceptable per the manufacturers instructions.

Acceptable yes, but Im wondering if they "need" to be processed? We used to do the same, but as of late we have just been decontaminating them, (washing them) and placing them in a dust cover and sending them back to the endo room. The case isnt a sterile case, and the valve is a one way valve, so nothing can get into the bottle. So, Im wondering if its OK to do what we are doing or should we be processing them??

We use to just run them through the sterilizer without packaging them but now we just decontaminate them and send them back.

Here, we hand wash the endo bottles then peel pack and steam them. FYI, there are disposable endo bottles out there - if you'd like the source please e-mail me and I'll get it to you.
