V: CONSTITUENT CHAPTERS The
term constituent chapter in these bylaws shall be interpreted
to mean a group of members of the IAHCSMM meeting regularly, conducting
programs consistent with the objectives of this Association, and having
a properly constituted organization.
Section 3. Liaison. The
constituent chapter should appoint or elect a liaison to IAHCSMM. This
member is entitled to represent the chapter to the Board of Directors
of the Association. Two members may perform this function if the conditions
of Article VII, Section 1A2 are met. A
constituent chapter which fails to comply with these bylaws or for other
cause deemed sufficient may be disqualified as a constituent chapter
of the IAHCSMM by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Board of Directors,
provided due notice has been given to the constituent chapter at least
three (3) months before such vote is taken. A constituent chapter which has been disqualified may be reinstated by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Board of Directors of the IAHCSMM. Continue to Article VI Back to Bylaws Index
