Surgical Procedure Flash Cards are a set of laminated cards that provide a basic overview of routinely performed surgeries. The cards feature information to help technicians understand the body system involved and potential instruments sets needed to support the procedures.

While the cards are not meant to be totally inclusive, they serve to augment the information provided in the IAHCSMM CS Technical Manual and the IAHCSMM Instrument Specialist Guide. The cards, are the first in a series; each set will be color-coded to help users easily identify and organize them by series. And at just $25 for members ($35 for non-members), CSSD managers can afford to keep the cards on hand in the break room or offer them as educational gifts during International CSSD Week.
